Wasaga Sands
Wasaga Beach Discussion 257 of 365; Wasaga Sands Twin Creeks I just can’t get used to calling it Twin Creeks. I suspect I will always refer to the golf course lands as Wasaga Sands. But I hope I never have to get used to street names to replace the fairways. Like many things in Municipal politics, issues only turn into high profile issues when deadlines or decisions are being made. This is true right now with the beach access issue. So… what’s happening with the groups fighting the planned housing on the golf course? I tripped over some old research tonight while scrolling through files. Wouldn’t it be nice if enough public pressure influenced our Mayor to write a letter asking our MPP, to write a letter asking the Premier to issue a “Ministers Zoning Order” preserving the golf course as either parkland or a golf course?
