January Cheque Register
Discussion 94 of 365; Well the January Cheque Register has been posted. This is one of those times when it’s easiest to just say… Wow! In 12 years of closely following Municipal Politics, I have never seen such freestyle spending. https://www.wasagabeach.com/.../Council%20Cheque... I simply cannot imagine the tax increases we will have to endure again shortly. According to the most recent rumours, the real spending is happening now. These reports however are two months late by the time we see them. So by the time we see March spending, it will be June and we will have already heard of the next free concert and plans for our new municipally run party corporation having been formed. I can only IMAGINE the wages that we will see once that gets finalized. Oh… hearing whispers that Beach One announcements shortly will disclose some creative real estate transactions. Can’t wait!
