No consultation on Beach One.
Discussion 90 of 365; Ellen Tim’s has been telling people that there is a big announcement coming up regarding Beach One properties. Perhaps that was the real estate discussions being held behind closed doors yesterday. Will we finally see what deal FRAM has been hammering out? Will the property be sold outright for cash or will there be a development trade off? I suspect the “plan” will be disclosed for wooden structure townhouses at Beach One. Possibly with a little public square and a few storefronts. I also suspect this early phase will involve land already cleared or land occupied by the Dard or Bananas. The reality is that properties on the walking mall area are likely proving too expensive. At the same time, I suspect phase two will involve Main and Beck with a new town hall that will be built at no cost to the tax-payer, but [...]
