Wasaga Beach Discussion 289 of 365; Wasaga Beach High School Please don’t get bored with posts about Wasaga Beach getting a high school. This is a CRITICAL time in the SCDSB’s quest to attain funding for a high school here in town. The Ministry is considering applications for funding from School Boards across the Province. What happened the last time the Province called for funding requests? Well, the Mayor and Council used municipal resources to go after that funding. They supported the Catholic School Board by arranging meetings with the Minister of Education at the AMO conference. They attended $1000 a person fund raising event parties, to take advantage of another opportunity to meet the Minister in charge and plead our case.
