June Cheque Register finally
Wasaga Beach Discussion 223 of 365; June Cheque Register... finally As a tax payer and long time resident, it’s important to celebrate the little things. Finally, the June Cheque Register is ready for review. The one thing that is important to note is the change in the way “Visa” charges are being reported. There was a time when detail was provided. Now, it simply says CAO Visa and an amount. It’s up to us to guess at what the $6000 is earmarked to pay. I guess it’s none of our business. So much for open and transparent government. Tomorrow, our Council and Staff will be returning from the AMO conference in Ottawa. I’m guessing the Visa cards got a good test there! We shall see when the cheque register is published… or will we? Plenty of entertainment/ party charges on this one. I’m afraid to reflect on their totals [...]
