Wasaga Beach Discussion 215 of 365; October 26, 2026! So many people have asked me this week when the citizens of Wasaga Beach can replace the existing Council. So I thought I would share the actual date with you. It may seem like October 26, 2026 is a long way off, but really… it’s only 26 months. Over the last few days it has been very interesting seeing the sheer number of people who also ask what it takes to be on Council. I have watched Wasaga Beach Council very closely for about 12 years. So, let me tell you what I think it takes. First of all however, we should focus on what a Council member should never be. We should avoid at all costs, giving the job to single issue candidates.
