Discussion 124 of 365; Want to know something? When my wife was first elected into Municipal Office on 2014, there was a pretty fast learning curve. With her corporate experience, it was a daily straightforward task and she embraced her quest for information. The Town of Wasaga Beach had organized all kinds of in house training. Every Department Head would present to the new Council, giving returning members an update while providing much needed orientation to new members. There was no shortage of information to absorb. From Water Treatment to Zoning and Recreational operations and Fire Department planning… the list was endless. Another incredible learning tool was the wonderful conferences put on every year by Municipal, Provincial and Federal Organizations.
