Wasaga Beach Discussion 333 of 365; Hypocrites! Our Council all appear to have been given the same script from their public relations department. Shop local! Brian’s campaign sounding add is almost identical to the messages they are sharing on Social Media. Ha! Have you seen the Amazon spending at Town hall? Our Council promotes out of town bakeries in local Facebook groups. Our Council only supports those local businesses that cherish them. I have an idea! Mr.Mayor, why not move here and truly support all local businesses? Maybe, just maybe these 7 elected officials should remember where their inflated paycheques and over-used expense accounts come from. Shop local…. Unless you control an almost $100,000,000.00 (I rounded up.) budget. Then do what you want!
