Discussion 16 of 365;Condos on the BeachWhat it is really all about! Brian Smith just nods and grins when developers say Beach One (and eventually Beach Two) will soon be a block of townhouses. FRAM has said that wooden townhouse styled structures will be first. FRAM also says this will not be a draw for families, but instead it will attract those who do not require mortgages. So, pause for a moment and reflect on the Collingwood waterfront. Now superimpose those buildings onto property owned by the Town of Wasaga Beach. But don’t take too long to reflect, our CAO and our Mayor as well as the developer have said they will move fast on this.
