Wasaga Beach Discussion 308 of 365; Smith selling Wasaga Beachfront to his Friend Well today’s Council meeting was interesting… apparently. For the first time this year, I didn’t actually watch it. I’m sure hearing a lot though. The big news for everyone today is Stonebridge apparently winning the RFP to develop Beach One. Lol…. OK, the comments I have read today are all over the map, so I won’t repeat them. Here is what I will share though. The first thought I had was to recall the Pitchforks and Hatchets meeting. For those new to political discussions, that was a public meeting hosted by a group of people in 2019 after Brian Smith lost the last election. They had three guest speakers at the meeting.
