Wasaga Beach Discussion 291 of 365; Fake ID’s For years, I have attempted to address the use of Fake ID’s on Facebook. As more and more people are reading my daily discussions, the use of these fake ID’s to simply attack, are ramping up. Honestly, it would be an embarrassingly long list to display them here, so consider this… Meta (FaceBook) sees nothing wrong with having a fake ID. Years ago, they insisted that you use your own name, but that has changed. There are some valid reasons people may need to use an alternate identity. Here is the most important factor in considering these identities and the words they type… If they resort to rude, inappropriate comments and simply attack the authors of differing opinions, then why are they hiding? Is it because they are themselves a public figure and can’t be seen to be that rude? [...]
