There is a feeling you get. After you have finished a task, building or making something when you step back and there it is… done.

I’m not arrogant enough to take credit for this. its a community effort like a barn raising, this took many people to do, but i take pride that i was there from the beginning digging the foundations.

So last night it “became”. the last shingles were hammered on, the crankcase was filled with oil and it ran for the first time: Our new Council. with a RecPlex hall filled with over 500 voters, experienced hands on the tiller and a clear mandate for the future, the future looks bright.

I have no clue where we will be in four years, or how I will feel, but right now its pride.
