Those of you who were so taken with the launching last year of the Town Advocate, namely Georgio Mammoliti must be asking where he has gone?

The apparently vital service has evaporated along with his office. Apparently under this new council, residents have no problems or issues. Hoorah!

Seriously though, I hope both the people who voted for this mayoral candidate understand the possibility that this may have just been a blatant self promotional stunt to get noticed in the run for election. Especially given it evaporated the day it was legal to campaign. 


This in itself isn’t terrible, politicians have been treating us like idiots around election time since well forever. So if we understand the Town Advocate was basically a lie, what else was a lie to manipulate voters?



You will remember George was hot and heavy about corruption in the last council. All kinds of dire threats about forensic audits and people being led away in handcuffs. Very similar to the lines Brian Smith read out, and of course Tania Snell slandered in her newspaper promotion to slide into Deputy Mayor.



Despite these dire assertions of corruption from those now in power, they have all gone remarkably quiet about the investigations they promised.

So quiet in fact its almost like there was no corruption at all?



Maybe these politicians were right about the intelligence of the average voter?
