Disappearing Information

I think it is important to review a few documents before they go missing and need to be part of an FOI request.

If you were upset about any of these expenses, keep a copy of the report or a screen shot.

They will soon disappear from the Towns Website. What was it this council constantly claims? Open and transparent? Anyhow… I had hoped in one of my final 365 discussions, I would be able to talk about the November Cheque Register. As you see… not yet available. Perhaps when the Mayor gets home from his vacation in a few weeks it will get released.

I also shared a screenshot of an important document that is public every year. It is the Treasurers Statement about Council Remuneration and Expenses. If ANYONE has the 2022 one, please post it for a comparison, or even better… 2020 or 21. That would be a contrast!

These numbers are important, but they should cause us to ask questions. Like… why is a hall rental part of this report?

Don’t forget, these are part time positions that require them to attend a few meetings a month.
