Wasaga Beach Discussion 348 of 365; OPEN AND TRANSPARENT? Sometimes older reports give a great insight into what the future holds. By completing the expansion of River Road West, the Town has left our community with one remaining section of our main thoroughfare that still requires modernization. The attached Environmental Assessment report was completed in 2018. It shows what will be required to widen and improve Mosley Street from Beachwood to 45th. With the continued development of the properties surrounding the Casino site and the potential for that Costco announcement at Lyons Gate and Ramblewood, one has to wonder how long we should hold off on this project? Even the Province has announced funding for a new Collingwood Hospital which will undoubtedly affect traffic studies for that stretch of road.
