There are days when you just look at what’s happening and say, is he really that brazen?

Wasaga Beach Councilor Richard White has typed out a Social Media comment and accompanied it with a short reel, calling my wife and I liars.

Wow! I really thought this whole Integrity Commisioner issue was behind us, but obviously, it will require some additional clarity. I will post a final summary about this issue after consulting with Sylvia to obtain some emails.

What I will say is I have never in all of my years following politics, seen an elected official publicly berate private citizens… and for what? Speaking out! I question decisions of Council and I am critical of their actions or their inactions.

If Richard White doesn’t want criticism, maybe don’t choose public office. But, I will not stop commenting on the actions of our Council simply because an elected official wants to publicly call my wife and I liars.

Richard White, I challenge you to be specific about these lies you claim I have told. Come to any group I administer and let’s have a discussion about these alleged lies. Of course, someone may have to tell him I make this challenge, as I suspect he has me blocked, so I won’t see these attacks.

Others have shared it with me but I cannot find his identity which typically means I am blocked.

I guess this is why they gave themselves these recent pay raises, because of the stress scrutiny brings.

Richard White accosted me in the hallway after the town hall meeting last month and insisted we talk about his emails. I refused, as it was not an appropriate time. A lady with him called me a coward as I turned my back.

Well, Richard… I plan to look at and share ALL communication in regard to this whole affair. Then, I will simply let public opinion fall where it will.
