Forgive my overuse of analogy, but Joe Belanger is the dried out slice of pizza, left at the back of the fridge by the last council. His efforts to get noticed consists of occasional stinks that waft through chambers and offend everybody.

In this case of making a mole hill look like a criminal act, councillor B waxes on about “Our” casino being ravaged by the Casino company with the evil collusion of the Mayor and CAO. A HUGE bait and switch being pulled on council by oligarchs bent on… well something. As usual he is big on accusations, but wanders off into the bushes of details.

The actual “massive” changes are taking a 24kft building to 21kft. Almost all of that is in the admin and utility areas. As is clear in the video, Joe didn’t even bother to check his facts before he lifted his cheek on this.

Unsurprisingly other councillors are disgusted by yet another grandstanding move by Wasaga’s saddest member of council and don’t hesitate to tell him so. Accusing your fellow council like this is yet another dirty mark on his well scuffed record. It’s time to clean out the fridge.
