Wasaga Council Secret Meetings

Probably one of my most troubling observations is what I perceive as over use of the phrase, “staff direction was provided” when Council emerges from their in camera sessions into open meetings.

What should concern people is that the “direction” they say was given, in many cases may have been items actually requiring a bylaw to implement.

Anyhow… the reality is that unless a Council member complains, or a whistle blower risks their job, nothing will happen.

Could someone please find the by-law that moves forward the development of Beach One using Stonebridge. I’m certain it must have been moved and voted on in open session, because the Town has made announcements about it. I just can’t easily find that resolution. I wanted to see if support was unanimous.
