Wasaga Council who what where why
I get it Brian Smith, his Council and his CAO’s would rather I simply be quiet. Then they could simply do what they want when they want and nobody would care because very few people actually follow day to day politics. Well, I’m not going away.
This Thursday is another “Special Council Meeting.”
Two topics of interest to the community are in play. Check out the agenda and you will realize that both items are being discussed behind closed doors.
- A Beachfront Development Corporation. Why? What benefit to the taxpayers could possibly come of this? Will all property decisions now fall under the secrecy of that board of directors? Such an important decision and it looks like they avoid any public disclosure or input. Typical.
- “Allenwood Beach Vesting Order” and “Beach Access Compréhensive Review” update. This is one of those “Wow” moments in Wasaga Beach history. Will all backlot property owners be denied access to paths and beaches they have used for years? Is the Town going to challenge the validity of deeds that were miraculously changed several years ago?
These are the exact reasons Wasaga Beach Taxpayers need to pay attention. It’s time for some of the. “Silent Majority” start to reach out to your elected officials and demand answers.
