Welcome to the Wasaga Chronicle.

A modern Chronicle of the Town of Wasaga Beach. This archive mainly contains Social Media posts that need to be remembered rather than lost in the chaff.

In Wasaga Beach the news and flow of information is entirely controlled by Mayor Brian Smith and is used to further his own personal agenda. His hand picked council and senior staff ensure his wishes overide the needs and representation of the whole community.

It soon became apparent that these forums could also be used to influence those following your posts. Your feeds could be filled with clips and discussions linked to corporate advertising and the “commerce” aspect of Social Media was born. The creators of these apps [...]

  • Wasaga Beach Discussion 261 of 365; Wasaga Budget anticipation I can’t imagine what the various department heads are thinking at this point. • Wasaga Beach Discussion 257 of 365; Wasaga Sands Twin Creeks I just can’t get used to calling it Twin Creeks. I suspect I will always refer to the golf course lands as Wasaga Sands.
